Alan enjoys helping build companies from scratch and scaling. He serves industries and stakeholders through a focus on growth and understanding market’s and people’s needs. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, capital management, advertising, software development, and operations.
An analytical entrepreneur, Alan has launched and grown several marketing and communication companies: SmartTouch, MetroSceneTV.com, and Broadcast News Corp. In a recent role as Co-Founder of SmartTouch Interactive, Alan identified the need in the new home construction industry for sales and marketing to integrate their online efforts. Alan oversaw the development of an enterprise software solution that grew to the #1 position in the most important markets across the US and Canada. He was responsible for strategic direction, product leadership, business development, finance, recruiting, and positioning the company for future growth.
Prior to SmartTouch Interactive, Alan founded and built Broadcast News Corp, where his creative team provided thousands of fast-growing companies with broadcast TV commercials and advertisements using celebrity hosts Terry Bradshaw, Peggy Fleming, and Wayne Gretzky.
Out of Broadcast New Corp, following his passion for real estate and marketing, Alan founded MetroSceneTV.com, where his team provided home builders and condo developers with an opportunity to introduce new communities through TV and online channels. The TV show entertained Chicagoland while representing over $15 billion in new construction projects.
After his initial entrepreneurial pursuits, Alan joined LandsofAmerica.com where he helped grow LandsofAmerica.com to the largest online network with more than $40 billion in available properties for sale. He helped grow and position the company for sale to LoopNet.com/CoStar. He also helped build Drive Electric, an electric car manufacturer and dealer. Alan turned around the company in 12 months by transitioning the company from sales to operations focused. He grew a $100 million operation while overseeing manufacturing, assembly, and delivery of 10,000 Neighborhood Electric Vehicles to consumers across the U.S.
Alan began his career in banking where he spent a decade funding and serving hundreds of startups, small businesses, and middle market companies.
