Application Process on Hold

At TEXSAR (Texas Search and Rescue), we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of training and readiness for all members of our volunteer team. Proper onboarding is essential to ensure that every volunteer is prepared to respond effectively during critical incidents.

Due to the overwhelming response following the Hill Country flooding events, we have received a significant number of new volunteer applications. In order to provide adequate support and training for incoming members, we have made the decision to temporarily close the volunteer application process.

We expect to reopen applications on October 1, 2025. At that time, individuals interested in volunteering with TEXSAR will be able to apply here.

In the meantime, we encourage those interested in volunteering with TEXSAR to attend a local division meeting. This is a great way to learn more about our mission, meet current members, and prepare for future involvement.
