Disaster Response:
During disasters and crisis access to food, water, and other needs may be limited if not unobtainable. During those instances, Points of Distributions or (PODs) are needed to disseminate those items to those affected in the area.
VOAD Response:
TEXSAR is an active member of the Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster. Support of a VOAD during a disaster.
SAR Response:
Support the TEXSAR Team during a mission.
Public Outreach Response:
Public facing requests that support community events. These are event requests that come into our organization for things like, National Night Out, Emergency Preparedness Fair, Touch-A-truck etc.
Community Response:
Examples of other community related responses include COVID testing sites, assisting within Emergency Operations Centers, etc.
