Description
The TEXSAR Gulf Coast Division will be hosting an American Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid Training on January 18-19, 2020 from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM in Dickinson, Texas for current TEXSAR members. The cost for this course will be $50 and all registered students must have a valid CPR/AED certification uploaded into SIMS at the time of registration and the course. No CPR/AED training will be included with the Wilderness First Aid class.
Students will be required to bring their 12-hour pack and a list of household items that will be sent out prior to the training. This is a rain or shine course that will be mainly outdoors. Weather appropriate clothing must be worn. Free Saturday night lodging will be available. Payment must be received by January 10, 2020. Class space is limited and there will be no refunds after January 11, 2020.
