TEXSAR Assists Authorities in North Texas Search

On March 9th and 10th, 2013, at the request of the Texas Rangers, Texas DPS, Graham Police Department, and the Young County Sheriff’s Office, TEXSAR conducted a search in North Texas. Along with TEXSAR partners from Galveston County, Fort Bend County, the Texas State Guard Maritime Regiment (TMAR), Cen-Tex Search & Rescue, Hudson Fire Department K9 Search and Rescue, Lewisville Police Department, the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), and area CERT teams, searchers put in 612 hours during the search and covered almost two square miles. TEXSAR managed all facets of the search from the search from the planning, logistics, incident management, rehab, and field search teams and received exceptional support from their law enforcement clients and incredible partners.
