TEXSAR was honored to work alongside the Austin Travis County EMS in the filming of Nightwatch Nation: First Responders earlier this summer.

Nightwatch is a New Orleans based TV show produced by 44 Blue Productions that airs on A&E. Nightwatch follows New Orleans EMS through the everyday life of the first responders of their city. It was fans of the show who brought to light the reality that EMS teams respond to a wide variety of calls and scenarios beyond what they had seen in New Orleans. Dan and Titus, stars of Nightwatch, took the show on the road in order to offer an exciting view inside EMS teams across the country with their fans. When it came to Central Texas, they chose to work with Austin Travis County EMS.

Austin Travis County EMS is an elite crew and we were so fortunate to be able to work with them on this project. 44 Blue Productions wanted some talented K9’s to add to the mix and happened to stumble on yours truly! We won’t give any of the exciting details away but we are so grateful to be a part of something that really showcases what TEXSAR is capable of and how we work with local authorities.
